We slept at Uncle Jeff's house, and then we went skating with Pops. Rachel has only tried skating 1 other time (last year), so it was a new and exciting experience. Pops was definitely the best skater out of our family.

December 30
Jason went for a big run in the morning while the rest of us went to the pool. Then Uncle Tony went skating with Ella and Benson and I took Cooper and Pops to join in. Cooper didn't last long, but it was fun to try and he did well when he was out there.

December 31
On New Year's Eve, we had a beautiful visit downtown and explored the waterfront. That evening, we went in a family 5km 'fun run' event. Rachel and her Daddy ran the kids 1km race, and Rachel had fun running the whole way. The rest of the extended family ran 2 laps around the UVic ring road, and Rachel cheered us on with Jason.

After the run, some of us went to Uncle Tony's house for a New Year's Eve party. The highlight for us was playing 'Just Dance', which is a dancing video game that is fantastic.
On Jan 1st, we left the island and made our way over to Vancouver to see friends.
We had an excellent visit catching up and enjoyed our time in Victoria so much! Thanks to all.
