The MOJO family split up for this section.
Jason traveled to Conwy, Wales to the start of the Dragon's Back ultramarathon 6 day stage race.
Meggan, Rachel and Ava flew to London (Gatwick) to hang out in the London area for the week.
We were met at the Gatwick airport by a distant cousin who lives in Headley, Surrey. We have never met before, so we weren't sure what to expect. It turns out that my Dad is third cousins with this woman, meaning they have the same great-grandfather... and she and her partner welcomed us with warm smiles into their beautiful home for 3 days/2 nights.
We caught up on laundry and went for a lovely walk in the hills nearby. I enjoyed the little old cottages, trails of grass with blackberries and huge oak trees. We taught them about geo-caching and we picked their brains about London and life in England and our upcoming travel plans. I didn't cook any meals or do any dishes for the entire time, which was an excellent break for me! We also ate very well, which was timely because we've been having some very basic one pot easy and quick meals for a while.

This rock is actually flint, cut back to look flatter like old stone work would look. |

We had lunch with my third cousin and her family, and it was lovely to meet them and their children and hear about their family. The kids all thought it was funny to meet their fourth cousins!
Before we left town, we went to an old beautiful manor, with large lovely grounds and a house that hosts over 50 pianos in it! We then had lunch in a traditional and old English pub before we caught the train to London.
Lovely!!
