We arrived late at Washington Dulles, went to Grandma's new townhouse, and then slept.
Friday morning we drove to Williamsburg, Virginia to go visit the Lord Grandparents, Barbara and Doug. It was terrific to get to see Barbara in her new (to us) room in the assisted living section. Our favorite part was to watch them sing to Rachel and Ava together.
Then we went back to Doug's townhouse (almost across the street), where we had applesauce, cookies, and Rachel played the trumpet. Doug also played some songs for us and he's still very good!
From Williamsburg, it was onward to Richmond for the wedding festivities.
